Delfim Correia da Silva is the director of CLP-Camões in Goa and a Visiting Lecturer at the Department of Portuguese & Lusophone Studies, Goa University. As a scholar and Ph.D student of University of Porto, Portugal, he has been researching the Goan literature in Portuguese and its inclusion in the syllabi of Portuguese Studies in India.
He is a member of the Thematic Project “Pensando Goa”, and has been organising the International Symposium “Goa: Cultures, Languages and Literatures” since 2016. He has promoted Portuguese Literature in India inviting several writers such as Miguel Real, José Luís Peixoto, Raquel Ochoa, Miguel-Manso, Rui Cóias, Rui Zink and Bruno Vieira Amaral to participate in literary festivals, encounters and reading sessions. He speaks Portuguese, French, Spanish and English.
